Job Description

As a Quality Engineer in Electronikmedia you are primarily mandated to plan, design, develop and execute testing in the software testing division. The ideal candidate will work on projects for our U.S. based clients and will collaborate across all departments of the organization to help improve the quality in all the business transactions.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a member of the QE Team, you will be working on test automation, end-to-end system testing, and regression. Members of this team tend to have expertise in testing web and mobile applications and QA Processes, experience in agile testing, fluency in JavaScript/Typescript

Responsibilities

• Design test strategies, test plans, and test cases for functional testing of our Web Application
• Provide active technical leadership throughout the entire development process, including reviewing acceptance criteria, reviewing test cases and test automation code, setting up environments, and communicating with the project team on defects, issues, and QA status
• Develop, implement, and debug automated test scripts
• Work in an Agile/Scrum Development Environment
• Prioritise testing efforts to best effectuate corporate strategies in collaboration with project stakeholders
• Develop new and maintain current test cases

Successful candidates must have the following qualifications

• At least 3+ years of manual and automation experience
• Experience in both Mobile and web application testing
• Experience with test automation tool Cypress.
• Proficiency with manual testing at different layer of the application (web, app, API, backend) across both desktop and mobile surfaces
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process and with Agile tools such as Jira
• Scripting proficiency: JavaScript/Typescript
• Able to handle clients individually and as a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
